Toronto – PhD Life
As always, meeting Ambika Tenneti and Dr Jacqueline L. Scott in Toronto was great. This was a great opportunity to discuss PhD life, collaborations on several projects, papers, journal articles, chapters and possible conferences. (all our PhDs are focussed around Race and environment / Outdoors ) Was great to visit the Toronto Reference Library.
Walking Festival
We had a fabulous weekend as part of the YHA (England & Wales) Festival of Walking in the Lake District. Volunteering
A small group of ethnically diverse people came together for a taster volunteer weekend at Rookhow, near Coniston, to experience volunteering in the landscapes.
